Amazon has not announced its 2026 event dates as of this writing; its 2025 Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday event ran from November 20 through December 1. This page is built to be useful today and to carry the live deals when they arrive: the history section below says what has actually discounted in this category in past years, with sources, and the picks section shows our current top products at live prices so you have a real baseline to compare a "deal" against.

What historically discounts in compact home gym gear — and what rarely does

We researched this from published deal coverage rather than from memory, and we are quoting what the sources said, when they said it, and who said it. A number from a seller's own blog is labeled as a seller's number.

Adjustable dumbbells: documented Black Friday history

This is the product class with the clearest record. The Bowflex SelectTech 552 was reported at $399 for Black Friday 2025, down from a list price the same coverage put at just under $500 (InsideHook, November 24, 2025). Aggregated deal-history listings show the same pair at $299.99 at Best Buy in November 2023 and again in December 2022. The PowerBlock Elite EXP was reported at $299.99, down from $449, in Amazon's early Black Friday sale in November 2023 (Coach, November 17, 2023). Both pairs are on our picks list below with today's live price — compare it to those past sale prices and you have a fair picture of what a genuine deal looks like, without us inventing one.

Treadmills, walking pads, rowers and bikes: heavily promoted, but read the "was" price carefully

Cardio is the most promoted category every November. Merach — whose magnetic rower we rank — published its own 2025 Black Friday guide claiming that in 2024 treadmills "averaged 35–40% off" and rowing machines and exercise bikes "saw 30–45% discounts" across major retailers. That is a seller's figure, not ours, and we have not independently verified it. Walking pads in particular attract a lot of "was $X" strike-through pricing from lesser-known brands, where the list price was never the real selling price. Our rule: judge a walking pad deal against the live price on our card in October, not against the strike-through in November.

Folding racks, folding benches, cable stations: no documented pattern we can cite

The folding wall racks, folding benches and wall-mounted cable machines we rank are mostly from smaller Amazon-native brands (Mikolo, JELENS, FLYBIRD, GMWD) that run coupons and price moves through the year rather than one big event. We found no reliable published Black Friday history for these specific models, so we are not going to claim one. Treat them as buy-when-the-live-price-is-right items — and the live price is on every card.

Small gear and flooring: rarely worth waiting for

Bands, grip kits, jump ropes, ab rollers and foam mats are already inexpensive; a percentage off a $25 item is a few dollars. Rubber flooring is heavy to ship and rarely headline-discounted. If you need it, buy it; the saving from waiting is small and the weeks without it are not.

How to check a Black Friday price yourself

Baseline it now. Note the live price on our card for the product you want. That is the number a November deal has to beat.
Use a price-history tool.Public trackers such as camelcamelcamel chart an Amazon listing's price over time; the PowerBlock Elite EXP chart is linked in Sources as an example. A "deal" that matches the last three months of pricing is not a deal.
Match the exact model. Adjustable dumbbell lines have several generations (the 552 Results Series versus older 552s, the Elite EXP versus the older Elite). Headline prices are often for the previous generation.
Ignore the strike-through. Especially on walking pads and folding treadmills from newer brands, the crossed-out price was frequently never charged.
